Our Story
It all started with a pretty simple question: If we know the best way to treat the diseases that hurt us the most, then why doesn’t everybody get the best care? The answer, though, turned out to be a lot more complicated. Misaligned incentives, administrative burden, lack of coordination resources, and even some of our own attitudes are keeping us in pain. Risalto set out to change all of that.
Our Team
Allison joined Risalto out of the Oxeon Venture Studio, where she worked closely with Risalto during the company's first year. Prior to Oxeon, Allison held positions with naviHealth, Providence Equity Partners in the NYC-based Portfolio Operations Group, and McKinsey & Company.

David S. Jevsevar, MD, MBA is Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Vice President of the Orthopaedic Service Line for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. Dr. Jevsevar has had a long involvement with evidence-based medicine, clinical program and care pathway development, quality and performance improvement, and clinical/patient–reported outcomes. He is active within the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), recently serving on the Board of Directors as Chair of the Council on Research and Quality. He is currently Chair of the AAOS Committee on Devices, Biologics, and Technology, a member of the AAOS Registry Oversight Committee, Co-Chair of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons Evidence-based Practice Committee, and Vice-President of the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Jevsevar’s clinical practice is focused on hip and knee arthroplasty.

Marcin joined Risalto while working at Eight where he headed the Data Engineering practice. Prior to Risalto and Eight, Marcin held various Data Science and Engineering roles at Komodo Health, Hooklogic and Yahoo.

Nancy has over 35 years of healthcare experience leading strategic and consultative sales/account management teams globally, specializing in the commercialization of start up technology enabled healthcare services organizations.
Most recently, she served as Chief Growth Officer for Quartet Health, a mental healthcare startup. There, her team achieved a doubling of revenue, and contributed to a Series D raise led by Centene Corporation.
Nancy spent over 6 years at Best Doctors, where she served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development. She led commercialization growth internationally, increasing revenue from 20M to over 160M, and a sale the following year to TeleDoc.
Before joining Best Doctors, Nancy was Vice President of Health Management Corporation/a division of a wholly owned subsidiary of Anthem. During her tenure there, Nancy led the sales efforts resulting in $60M of organic revenue, and the eventual internal sale to Anthem, creating their own health and wellness offering.
From 1994 to 2005, Nancy was a co-founder of Cor Solutions, one of the first Disease Management Organizations, which was eventually sold to Matria for $445M.
Nancy received a BS from Syracuse University in Biology, and a medical technology Board license from the Jersey Shore Medical Center.

Schuyler came to Risalto from KATE, where he helped transform medical claims data into a consumer-facing medical history app. Before that, Schuyler helped Oscar Health revamp their claims processing system, improving on-time performance from 80% to 98% in two quarters. Previously, he interned at UBS Wealth Management and EGA, an emerging markets asset manager.

Ariana is a nationally accredited board certified health and wellness coach (NBC-HWC). She comes to Risalto from Vida Health where she was a health coach for 4 years. Prior to Vida, Ariana worked as an exercise therapist for Egoscue Beverly Hills. As an exercise therapist for Egoscue she helped address musculoskeletal imbalances in patients by guiding them through exercises specific to their postural position and pain. In addition to her role in Strategy & Service Operations, she serves as a Risalto Health Coach Lead.
Ariana received her BA in psychology from UC San Diego.

He has received an Award for Academic Excellence in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as an Award for Academic Excellence in Mathematics. Mo graduated college with Cum Laude (honors) in Mathematics as well as Magna Cum Laude in Computer Science.

Randy Hutchinson brings over 30 years of healthcare development, growth, technology, and operating experience to Risalto Health. Most recently, Randy served as COO at AIM Specialty Health, Anthem’s specialty clinical program subsidiary providing clinical appropriateness, affordability, and cost & quality transparency services for over 50 million members. He was instrumental in driving AIM's growth, expansion, and value, leading solutions development, client management, advanced analytics, clinical operations, and other key company functions.
His prior experience includes strategic program development and growth at UnitedHealth Group’s Ingenix and at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association; physician group and managed care network leadership roles at SSM Health; and healthcare strategy and technology consulting at Tiber Group and Accenture.

Dan founded Risalto in 2016 with the mission of helping more patients get the highest standard of care. Prior to Risalto, Dan was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company and then the provider domain manager for McKinsey Healthcare Analytics.
Dan holds an MD from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, and a BA from Columbia University.

Karen is a Licensed Practical Nurse. She comes to Risalto from the US Department of Veterans Affairs, VA HealthCare System where she worked in many capacities ranging from geriatric (LTC, rehabilitation), behavioral health (inpatient care), community care (PACT) and healthcare administration for 8 years. Her primary focus is on contributing to the improvement and quality of life in patients.
Karen received her nursing training from GJCTC- School of Nursing in Monroeville, PA.

Molica Anderson works in Clinical Product but brings a history of seeing patients in private practice and employer onsite wellness care as a sports chiropractor. She has previously worked in Clinical Product at another musculoskeletal healthcare start up based in San Francisco.
She graduated with her doctorate from Palmer West Chiropractic and her BS in Biology from UC San Diego. Currently living in San Francisco, she enjoys playing/coaching ultimate frisbee and surfing internationally.

Sam joins Risalto with over 10 years of industry experience and a passion for technology. Sam has built his career working with both startups and industry-leading technology companies across multiple industries, and is very excited to return to healthcare with Risalto.
Prior to Risalto, he has held various engineering positions at Google, Amazon, Eight and HookLogic.
Sam holds a Master’s in computer science from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon.

Brad Wilson is the Founder of Wilson Strategic Consulting LLC and is an experienced CEO and leader in healthcare, higher education, coaching and public policy.Brad brings to Risalto over 13 years of senior-level leadership experience including Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), BCS Financial Corporation, as well as past Chairman of the National Institute for Health Care Management. Brad has been prepared to assist companies and individuals in execution, strategic development, as well as organizational and personal development.
Previously before joining BCBSNC in 1995, he practiced law and served as general counsel to Gov. Jim Hunt, directing the governor’s legislative strategy and heading his legal department.
Wilson holds a BA in History, Philosophy and Religion, Political Science from Appalachian State University, and a J.D. in law from Wake Forest University School of Law, as well as a MA in Liberal Art and Sciences/ Liberal Studies from Duke University.

Charles Boorady is Founding Managing Director of Health Catalyst Capital Management LLC., as well as Founding Advisory Board Member of the Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Center. He is Chairman of the Board of PierianDX and also holds other board and Advisor roles with innovative healthcare organizations. He previously served on the Board of Remedy Partners.
Charles has leveraged a large network of advisors and has over 30 years of experience in healthcare investment and information technology business re-engineering. He has evaluated, advised, and invested in private companies focused on healthcare and information technology, ranging from start-up to growth equity and numerous IPOs including Anthem in October 2001, among the largest and most complex underwriting.
Past firms include Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Citi and Accenture.

David Whelan runs Oxeon Ventures, the venture start-up studio and investment business at Oxeon Holdings, Risalto's seed funder. David was previously a General Partner of Accretive LLC, during which time he served as director on the portfolio company boards of Arise Virtual Solutions and Insureon. Before that, David held the roles of Chief Executive Officer of the Cloverleaf Group and Vice President of Corporate Development with the Virgin Group.

Alan is a physician executive with a long and rich background in health strategy, employer sponsored health care, managed care, and medical policy. Alan is currently Chief Medical Officer of Medica and Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of Accolade. Previously, Alan co-founded Accolade and served as their Chief Medical Officer for nine years, lead the Clinical Practice at Towers Perrin, and served as Chief Medical Officer for the National Accounts division of WellPoint.

Vince joined the Advisory Board of Risalto and advises the company on strategic, product, and business development matters. Vince is currently President and CEO of IPG, the leading medical device management company. Vince is focused on driving IPG’s value for clients by advancing IPG's capabilities and solutions. Before joining IPG, Vince was President and CEO of Triad, a leading musculoskeletal care management company. Under Vince’s leadership, Triad became a leader in its market, experienced significant growth and profitability, and in 2013, the company was acquired by MedSolutions (now EviCore). Post-acquisition, Vince continued as CEO to ensure a successful integration and its continued strong growth. Previous experience includes leading Strategy and Business Development for Blue Shield of California, where he developed strategies to increase the company’s market position and competitiveness. Earlier, he led Corporate Development for Magellan Health Services where he developed and executed on a successful diversification strategy by expanding into Radiology and Pharmacy, which is still the core of the company’s growth and profitability today. Vince also held leading positions at United Health Group, Cigna, JP Morgan and GE Capital.

Dr. Farah Hameed currently serves as a practicing physician and an Assistant Professor at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine.
Farah received her MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch and her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her residency at Harvard Medical School/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and her fellowship in Spine and Sports Medicine at Northwest University through the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where she won a Baskin Award for excellence in research. She is Board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Sarah Gray is a Clinical Health Psychologist who specializes in pain psychology in her role as Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and in her private practice, Integrative Psychology, PC. For seven years she was the lead pain psychologist at Spaulding's multidisciplinary Functional Restoration and Pain Management Program, and has presented nationally on topics related to pain psychology and chronic pain. Additionally, she holds positions with Massachusetts General Hospital, and is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School.
She studied psychology at Sarah Lawrence College and Oxford University, going on to complete her doctorate, with Health Psychology concentration, at MSPP (now William James College). Clinical training included internships at the Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Mental Health Intensive Outpatient DBT Program, the Health Psychology Center in Maine, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Rhode Island.
